Body Frequency Alignment is a combination of healing and relaxation techniques and involves you ‘becoming a drum’ as I work with gentle percussive movements on the body. These movements are done to a backing track that you listened to on headphones. This track encourages the brain to go into a more relaxed theta brain wave state. Because the body is experiencing the rhythms it hears and feels through my tapping at exactly the same tempo as the backing track, synchronisation of body and mind is brought about. Once you are in this relaxed mental state, your body is more receptive to the gentle acupressure which also forms part of the session.
